Along the paths spotted with natural marvels

Give it a try with an easy and short walk towards the centre of Toblach / Dobbiaco (1 km away from Wahlen), which is full of attractions for every age. Fun begins in the big Adventure Park with 14 high-rope trails, designed for different difficulty levels. Another highlight is the Alpine dairy Drei Zinnen (Three Peaks), where you can unveil the secrets of milk processing. Otherwise, you can head towards the nearby Fauna Park in Altschluderbach (Carbonin Vecchia) in order to meet Alpine animals or towards Lake Dobbiaco (Toblacher See) to play in the adjacent recreation area Grieswaldile with swings, sand boxes, etc. Another alternative is an easy hike to the source of the Drava river with an immersion into the Wood Wonder World of Toblach / Dobbiaco.

Meanwhile, experienced hikers can choose among a great variety of more challenging and longer routes, where every effort is fully compensated by stunning views. Among particularly exciting hikes there are tours to the Bonner Mountain Hut, to the Silvester Alp, to Golfen (Monte Calvo) or towards the nearby towns of Niederdorf / Villabassa (Kneipp village, Kurpark, Adventureland for children), Innichen / San Candido and Welsberg / Monguelfo (Welsberg Castle). And don’t forget about the proximity to such splendid nature parks as Three Peaks and Fanes-Sennes-Prags. A visit to Prags Lake (Lago di Braies) is a real must.
